2. Purchasing Activity

The purchasing division is the part of the company whose task is to provide goods/services for the company's operational needs. In the company where I previously worked there were 6 stages in the goods procurement process, namely:

1. There is a request from the client for certain goods
2. Make a data list regarding what items will be needed along with the price of the items
3. Create a price offer document for the goods requested by the client
4. Once the offer is accepted and the client agrees to purchase the item from us and they send us a P.O for the item
5. Purchase order process to supplier
6. Goods are ready to be distributed to clients

In this purchasing process, the ability to negotiate to get the best goods at the best prices and the best service is very necessary in order to generate more profits for the company.
